Pledges to St. Barnabas are always welcome and can be made at any time. Simply fill out a pledge form (click on the link below to print one out) and mail it to the church office or place it in the collection plate on Sunday or drop it in the Finance Chair mail box in the office foyer. Your gift will be greatly appreciated and is important no matter how large or small it may be. Our annual parish budget is largely based on the pledges that are made each year. When you pledge, it helps the Vestry and the Treasurer anticipate the funds that will be available and to set the budget for our ministries and general expenses. Your commitment of treasure works together with the gifts of time and talent to enable our community to fulfill God’s call.
If you’ve not pledged before, please remember that while your pledge is a commitment made in good faith, it is not a legal contract. If you find yourself faced with financial difficulties or unable to fulfill your pledge for any reason, you are not obligated to do so. You do not need to be a recognized “member” to make a pledge—you only need to hear God’s call to share your treasure in support of our parish mission. You also do not need to be a confirmed member to be actively involved in parish activities, but one of the attributes of a “confirmed communicant in good standing” according to the canons of the Episcopal Church is a financial pledge.
